We have created an intuitive data entry system that formats the text based on the amount of spaces proceeding the actual text data. Secondary, the level of customization is extremely high via our unique ‘Skin’ option, where you can upload a Skin to your website which will change the way your site looks including all colours and images. Thirdly, there is no limit to the amount of pages you can make, its very fast and very easy to create new pages with www.ignite-a-site.com! Q: How much will this cost?The FULL service costs 99p per month. There is no long term contract - all we ask is that you activate the subscription with Paypal during the signup process and you will get the 1st month for FREE. You can cancel your subscription at anytime - no obligations, simply unsubscribe to the service through your ignite-a-site control panel or via PayPal. Q: The Free Trial - What’s the catch?The FREE version of the ignite-a-site lets you try out the software before making any commitments to upgrade to the FULL service – which is a subscription service. The FREE version gives you a month trial, with no commitments to continue using the service. The process is as follows:
Q: How much storage space do I get?After you have completed the signup process for the FULL service, your website will be allocated with 250MB of storage space. Q: Do I get an email address with my website?Currently there isn’t an option for email address association, however there are plans to develop this in the not too distant future. However, there are many free email services like: Hotmail (http://www.hotmail.co.uk) and gmail (http://gmail.google.com/) that can cater for your email needs. Q: How do I get a Domain Name? (example: www.mywebsite.com)Getting your own “.com” address or domain name is as easy as 123…..literally! Q: What are the Image/File upload limitations?Via the Image / File upload facility there is a limit on the amount of data that can be uploaded in one go, in the region of 2MB per upload. Q: How long do you keep my files / website for?If you are paying the monthly subscription, your website & the associated details will always be displayed (unless you physically delete them). If you have cancelled the service we will keep your files for approx 6 months so that you can re-activate your website and get access to these files during that period. Q: Can I have more than one FREE website in my account?The first time you sign up to www.ignite-a-site.com you get the 1st month for FREE. Using the same account details, any additional websites that you create won't include the FREE trial. Q: Can I have more than one Subscription website in my account?Absolutely! Via the Control Panel > Site Manager you can have as many Ignite-a-Site websites as you may require. Q: I have completed the signup process - how do I get access to the CMS area of my website?Once you have completed all the initial setup steps. Open your Ignite-a-Site website (example: http://yourwebsite.ignite-a-site.com) that you have created and add the words: /cms to the end of your address (example: http://yourwebsite.ignite-a-site.com/cms) - this will always bring you to the CMS backend of your website.
Account MaintenanceI've forgotten my Username & PasswordNo problem, simply click on "login" from the navigation above. At the bottom of the login screen click on the link that says: "Forgot your login details?" and enter your email address into the area provided. Your login details will automatically be sent to your email address! How do I change my (CMS) Content Management System password?Login to your Control Panel using your unique Username & Password. Once you are logged in go to the tab marked: "Site Manager". Find the site name that you would like to edit and click on the Key icon How do I cancel my account?To cancel your Ignite-a-Site website, login to your account by clicking on "Login" at the top of the navigation and entering in your login details. Then, in the "Control Panel" click on the tab marked: "Site Manager". This will display all of your active accounts with Ignite-a-Site - then click on the icon How do I modify my website settings?To modify your website details, login to your account by clicking on "Login" at the top of the navigation and entering in your login details.
